I'm ready for the next tween entertainment fad. And I don't mean werewolves. Whatever happened to Highlander? Hot immortal Scottish dudes with big, um...swords. I vote for that.

Nope - same one - Mackenzie Crook
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0188871/

As for why it's being shown after being cancelled - I think BBCA bought it before it aired (so hadn't seen it). Now they may as well show it... I'm sure something better will be along soon!

Those crazy Brits!

I think the blond guy in the picture actually played on the British version of The Office. He was the British equivalent of Dwight.

P.S. I love how 2 of the previous commentors actually got all technical on you.

Here's what I always wonder about. in those twilight books and other vamp things:

They drink blood fine, but if they don't use the restroom wouldn't it build up in them and give them pot bellies? they never address that

Thank God it hasn't been renewed. And that you for all of the information. Very good to know. I'm confused as to why, if it isn't getting renewed, it's being shown here. I think that the concept of the show could be really good, they just didn't give it it's full potential.

Who okayed this show? Well, not the BBC...

Demons was actually commissioned and originally broadcast by ITV, a commercially funded broadcaster in the UK (and rival to the BBC), partially in response to the success of the BBC's family dramas Saturday evenings (including Doctor Who, Robin Hood and Merlin). It was produced by Shine, an independent producer (co-incidentally owned by Rupert Murdoch's daughter Elizabeth)

http://www.itv.com/Drama/cult/Demons/

The international rights for the show were picked up by BBC Worldwide, the BBC's commercial arm - which is how it ended up on BBC America. The channel aims to showcase the best (and some of the rest) of original UK broadcasting to an American audience.

And you can relax. It hasn't been renewed for a second series.

I will only agree to the part about you loving cookie monsters. Because, the rest of the show is insane. Like, stupid insane. Filtering blood? That makes even less sense.
